David Y. F. Ho was Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Hong Kong. As a teacher, he faced the challenge of introducing unconventional (some would say audacious) approaches to therapeutic intervention and prevention into Hong Kong society. He has had extensive multicultural experiences in Asia as well as North America. He was the first Asian to serve as President of the International Council of Psychologists (1988 – 1989).

Basic Information:

This workshop puts the emphasis on nonverbal self-expression in the spirit of a therapeutic group.  It goes beyond the usual psychological approaches to stress reduction. David will introduce Dynamic Relaxation and Meditation (DRM) as a new approach to relaxation, stress reduction, and health enhancement. As Professor of Clinical Psychology, David has integrated hypnosis, music, dance, movement, Chinese qigong and martial arts into a unique method for not only stress management but also holistic health enhancement.
