In a review of the 2005 documentary RIZE, Diane Duggan wrote:
“Krumping was created by its practitioners to meet their social, emotional and spiritual needs. As dance/movement therapists we have much to learn from this art form that is of the people, by the people, and for the people. It is an affirmation of the human spirit and a reminder of the power of dance to transform people’s lives and touch the divine that is within us all.”
