This years’ conference theme, Building Connections: Dance/Movement Therapy in our Diverse World, is meant to be contemplated on multiple levels. To begin, consider the following definitions from the Merriam-Webster online dictionary:

Diverse:

Composed of distinct or unlike elements or qualities
Differing from one another

The NYSADTA board invites you to participate in the 13th Annual Dance Parade!

Dance Parade is: A 501(c)(3) charity whose mission is to inspire dance through the celebration of diversity. Our volunteer supported organization produces the annual Dance Parade on Broadway followed by DanceFest in Tompkins Square Park. In the months leading up to the Parade and Festival we offer Community Engagement Programs in Schools, Recreation Facilities and Senior Centers throughout New York City. – See more at: http://danceparade.org

Time: Meet at meet-up location around 1:00pm

What to Wear: Blue

Who can come: EVERYONE! Bring your friends, family, and coworkers! All participates are welcome.
